Our goal is to create an environment that empowers young athletes to use competitive running to become healthy and positive role models within their community
We understand the value of participation in sport and how it may contribute to improving the lives of young athletes. We also believe that those who have demonstrated the potential to excel should not be burdened by financial constraints. The CTAC Athletic Scholarship Program was created to reduce the financial barriers of running by creating equal opportunity and access to athletics.
Our CTAC Athletic Scholarship Program will help lessen the cost of membership, coaching, travel and meet entries. They are awarded to athletes on a seasonal basis (fall, winter and spring sessions) and are eligible for renewal.
We offer a total of 15 Scholarship Opportunities across the Intro Program (Grade 3 to 5), Development Program (Grade 6 to 8) and High School Group (Grade 9 to 12). Successful athletes would be granted a partial (25%, 50% or 75%) or full (100%) CTAC Athletic Scholarship.
Interested applicants can apply for the CTAC Athletic Scholarship Program online. If you have any questions around the qualification criteria or require assistance in completing the application, please contact us at email@example.com.
To be eligible for the CTAC Athletic Scholarship Program, families must demonstrate a financial need for scholarship support from the Club. While each application is considered on its own merit, CTAC may require a copy of your most recent Notice of Assessment (NOA) from Revenue Canada or Child Tax Benefit Statement which clearly states your marital status and net family income.
What do athletic scholarships cover?
Athletic scholarships cover all or a portion of the costs for program fees, meet fees and travel-related costs to attend meets. The amount covered is dependent on the type of scholarship (full or partial).
CTAC Athletic Scholarships are awarded to athletes on a seasonal basis (fall, winter and spring sessions) and are eligible for renewal. To maintain the awarded scholarship, the athlete must demonstrate that they are coachable, committed, show progress and be involved in the Club.
