2020/2021 Membership Fees

SPECIAL COVID-19 NOTICE RE: 2020/2021 FEES
Should CTAC be required to modify our program and/or program delivery for the 2020/2021 season due to Provincial/Municipal regulations based on the COVID-19 pandemic, and these changes result in a fundamentally different program from the CTAC program outlined at the time of registration, CTAC will review timing and enrolment fees and provide appropriate refunds.

CTAC operates on a September 1 to August 31 season. Membership options for athletes are based on their age.


Intro Group (grades 4 & 5)

Athletes in grades 4 and 5 can sign up for one or more of CTAC’s Intro Group sessions. Each session runs for nine weeks with two practices each week. The sessions are Fall (cross country session), Winter (indoor session) and Spring (outdoor session).


Development Group (grades 6 to 8)

  1. Full Annual Membership – cross country, indoor track and outdoor track (1 year starting Sept1)
  2. Cross Country Membership – cross country season only Sept1 to Nov30
  3. Indoor & Outdoor Track – for athletes joining between Jan1 and Jun1

High School Group (grades 9 to 12)

  1. Full Annual Membership – cross country, indoor track and outdoor track (1 year starting Sept1)
  2. Cross Country Membership – cross country season only Sept1 to Nov30
  3. Indoor & Outdoor Track – for athletes joining between Jan1 and Jun1

Membership Fee Details

Membership fees are based on the age of the athlete and include the following as applicable:

a) Program Fee – This fee covers the coaching services provided to CTAC athletes.
b) Meet Fees – This fee is tracked separately for each athlete and is used to cover your meet entry fees throughout the season. Any unused fees will be refunded or credited to next year’s fees. If you exceed your Meet Fees account you will be asked to reimburse the club for the amount owing.
c) Facilities Fees – This fee covers (as applicable) your Monarch Park Stadium pass and field rental for the Winter indoor track season, the Central Technical School fee for the Spring outdoor track season and the Sunnybrook Park permit fee for the cross-country season.
d) Athletics Ontario (AO) Registration Fee – This fee covers registration with the national and provincial governing body.
e) Minor Track Association (MTA) Registration Fee – This fee covers registration with the Ontario Minor Track Association. This fee applies only to the athletes in the Intro Group and the Development Group.

* If you are a returning member please email our club manager at info@centraltorontoac.ca to see if you are in a credit or debit position in your Meet Fee account so that adjustments can be made to your annual fees.

## If you are a new member to Athletics Ontario (AO) you will be required to pay two AO fees, the current year AO Cross Country registration fee, to cover the current year cross country season, and the next year Full Year AO membership fee, which purchases an AO membership for the entire season for the following year. Returning AO members only pay the next year AO membership.

Cross Country Season Only Membership Fees (grades 6+)

This membership is for those athletes that only want to train and compete with the club during the Fall cross-country season. These fees will take effect at registration in August / September and will cover the current year cross-country season which operates from September 1 to November 30. Please note that this fee does not include a ticket to the annual CTAC awards banquet held in the Fall of each year (you can pay the $50 fee if you would like to attend).

Winter & Spring (Indoor & Outdoor Track) (grades 6+)

For athletes Joining Between Jan1 and Jun1. This fee covers the Winter (indoor) and Spring (outdoor) track seasons that run from January 1 until August 31. Note that these fees are the same regardless of when you join after January 1.

Notes:

Sibling Discounts

CTAC offers a discount for families with two or more athletes in our program. Program fees are reduced by 10% for the second athlete and 20% for the third and any additional athletes in the family. This discount is applied to the athlete(s) with the lower fees.

Refund Policy

Refunds for athletes in the Intro Group and Cross-Country only group will be considered on a case- by-case basis taking into consideration timing and enrolment fees paid.

The following is applicable for athletes in grades 6 and higher:

  • Any member withdrawing from the club must do so in writing or via email and deliver it to their coach or a CTAC board member.
  • Memberships are not transferable to another athlete.
  • Refunds will not be issued to injured athletes.
  • Members resigning prior to the dates below will be entitled to a refund of Program Fees according to the schedule below (less a $50 banquet fee if after the banquet date), Meet Fees (less any meet fees already incurred) and the cost of the Monarch Park Stadium pass (if not already incurred)
