That’s a wrap on the 2025 cross-country season and what a way to go out! Once again, the Canadian Cross Country Championships were held at Fanshawe Golf Course, and true to form, it was snowy, breezy, cold (both days), and a sloppy course for Sunday’s mixed relay. Not to be deterred the CTAC ‘A’ U18 4 x 2k Mixed Relay team won the team Gold and are the 2025 U18 Canadian Cross Country Champions! Congratulations Oliver, Rebecca, William and Kieva. Equally impressive was the performance of the CTAC ‘B’ team. Fifty-seven teams from across Canada raced the event. The team of Matthew, Chloe, Jacob and Niamh finished 19th! Not to be overshadowed by Sunday’s results, Saturday’s team races demonstrated CTAC’s depth of talent. All four teams finished in the Top 10; U16G and U16B were 9th, U18G 4th, and the U18B 7th. Individually CTAC had four in the Top 20, including Niamh 9th, Rebecca 6th, Kieva 14th, and William 7th. Strong running in difficult conditions. What a blast the whole weekend was!
